About Denver
Skilled Policy & Advocacy Professional with over 10 Years of Experience
Denver Supinger is the Founder and Lead Principal of Civics Centered, a mission-driven consulting firm specializing in social impact strategy, political advocacy, and policymaking. With over a decade of experience spanning local, state, and federal systems, Denver brings a rare blend of on-the-ground political insight and strategic public affairs leadership to her work.

Denver began her career in the City of Richmond, where she launched the city’s first water and sewer bill relief program to support low-income residents. Since then, she has led advocacy portfolios in some of the most influential government and nonprofit spaces—managing public safety and transportation issues in one of the nation's largest counties, running a legislative office in the Virginia General Assembly, leading political outreach effots for a global nonprofit, and lobbying at the federal level for nationally acclaimed causes.

A strategist by nature and organizer by heart, Denver has helped shape public policy on a broad range of issues including gender-based violence, equitable education access, workplace inclusion, and disability justice. Among her proudest accomplishments: designing a statewide hospital protocol to better serve survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and leading anti-racism and DEI trainings that empowered hundreds of union members to be stronger allies and changemakers in their communities.

Through Civics Centered, Denver partners with nonprofits, small businesses, advocacy organizations, and corporations to build campaigns, policies, and strategies that don’t just respond to today’s challenges—but reshape the systems behind them. She is passionate about breaking down barriers to political power, building sustainable movements, and ensuring that the future of policy is shaped by the people most impacted.
